  • Test run?

Shelves in Walmart stores in Springhill and Mansfield, LA were reportedly cleared Saturday night, when the stores allowed purchases on EBT cards even though they were not showing limits.

Here again, another wake up call for the "last minute" preppers that think they are going to "run out at the last minute" and max out their cards to purchase things they should be purchasing a little at a time NOW.

So in parts of LA the system "glitch" allowed the FSA to get more than the max on their "de owes me" card- RESULT = many shelves cleared.

In 17 other states, the "glitch" made the FSA where they could NOT use their "de owes me" card at all- RESULT= a bunch of pi$$ed off FSA people hanging around the store causing trouble until they get theres. It will be worse if it happens again.

Was it just a TEST? An intention "glitch" to see how far these types would go?

As usual, their IS a lesson here. The lesson is running out at the last minute to get that "extra box of twinkies" for storage will likely result in you running into the FSA crowds.

    Two possible results of that-
    1. They are pi$$ed cause YOU are able to get what you want and they are not
    2. They are stripping the shelves (in the no limit example from Louseyanna) and they get pi$$ed cause you got in their way, or that you also started grabbing stuff THEY wanted.

I've said for decades that running out at the last minute to stock up is foolish, this is one of MANY REASONS why.

I don't know that it was a test but it should sure be used as one that is if anyone is paying attention outside of this circle which doesn't appear to be the case. When the frenzy is on it's a real good place to get hurt and thats not the way you want to start PAW
