So my wife and I discussed this and my thought on the ones that had no limit and loaded up many carts was that's fraud, or theft by deception or just wrong. She thought oh they're just taking care of themselves.
I left the room before I said something else.
Survival question. What do I need most, right now?

            wise indeed as 610A stated
but with time and thought many attitudes change towards something. planting a seed by saying something like "well i'm sure glad we didn't need anything from there since it was all gone especially for our family" can lead to more thought over time without hurt feelings or fights that can't be won

your employer over pays you by 500$ on your friday pay check. you cash it,,spend it. on monday accounting see's the mistake and now either a- ask for it back or b- like most would do- garnish your future checks until the 500 is returned.
will your wife be "mad" that her checks are now garnished aka " short" .....

i know most folks get upset.but that "extra" wasnt theirs to spend on 60 carts of food. etc and they should have their cards revoked as punishment.
i wonder how many cards got traded out for dope/cash like they seem to do in some circles.......

Protus that is exactly the point I was trying to make, that the money wasn't theirs to spend. Also why didn't the manager of the store allow this to continue. (although they wouldn't be out anything & may have caused a riot).

Cause people have gotten used to giving them what they want to avoid the relating BS... Which is the big underlying problem.

them knowing they were over and rushed to do it makes them criminals in my book and everyone of them needs to pay it back and loose future use of it. even if they have to go hungry cause they got so greedy for the free money thinking we're going to foot the bill and they get to walk away scott free. working or being old yea if you need alittle help that's ok but to just play the system year after year is bs.

This is a prelude on a very small scale to what will happen when the crap really hits the fan. Those looters sacked Walmart within hours of the EBT system going down. In a more serious situation, say grid down, we can count on rioting in the streets and widespread looting. I fully expect the onslaught to amp up and stay amped up for 48-72 hours during which time the mayhem and the body count will be tremendous.
"One cannot but ponder the question: what if the Arabs had been Christians? To me it seems certain that the fatalistic teachings of Mohammed and the utter degradation of women is the outstanding cause for the arrested development of the Arab. He is exactly what he was around the year 700, while we have kept on developing. Here, I think, is a text for some eloquent sermon on the virtues of Christianity." - General George S. Patton, diary, June 9, 1943.
