On my way to work I saw an estate sale, turned around and went in. I always head to the garage or basement. SCORE: round point shovel, 5 sharpning stones, Coleman lantern, pick ax and extra pick ax head, 2 dozen canning jars, a come-along, a cargo strap, and a 3 foot pry bar....... total $30.

Very nice. The companies around my area that handle estate sales for people over price things to the point of being ridiculous. The last one I bothered to go to had some motorcycle gear. There was a half helmet that looked like it had seen better days. Scratched up like it had been through an accident. They wanted $50 for it. You can buy those brand new for less than that. The rest of their items were equally beat up and over priced.
And no, I wasn't interested in buying the helmet. I would only buy those new anyway.Comment
