This is ridiculous. It's bad enough they don't let law abiding civvies carry, now they're after trained Peace Officers. That's a new level on the war against guns.

That's bs, most of the schools I went to had cops on campus at all times, and not because they thought some crazy sob was going shoot up the school but because of gang activities on and around campus, although it didn't stop them from doing business it made the none gang kids feel a little safer.

That makes me furious! The local PD has had uniformed officers at the entrances to each of the schools every day since Newtown. I know at least part of them are there on a strictly volunteer basis. Not to mention the fact that DH is always accorded the utmost respect when he picks up or drops off DS.
