needs few more days/week for the no paycheck stress to set in.....then we may start seeing stupid things. that or they actually shut down real stuff vs parks and memorials,,,,,,,,shut down the ebt card funding for 2 weeks,,,,,and lets save some money lol

looking at a man's background... his school... his parents.... his associates... his friends... the things he says.. both his lies and his truths... (and by the way,,, when most of a mans communications are lies.. I get to the point that I assume he always is) --

so let's consider based on all the above list... what is the mans deep down desire for the u.s.a.
what is his desire and feelings for our large middle class.
what is his desire for illegals and muslims and welfare class
what has been his pattern for folks that come from his homeland... and the land of his fathers...
awe shoot... I was trying real hard not to offend anybody... thwt.
what has been his statements about Africans... when Africans do bad (compared to when Europeans do bad evil things)

we've all read posts about most of the above... we've seen quotes from his book about his dada and his coworkers and the nature of acorn and the nature of his religious affiliation... we've seen who he bows to. we've seen that he walks out on the Israelis and won't break bread with them. (and yep, i'm a supporter of the descendants of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob)
sometimes you just got to choose to take a stand.

there appears to be a concerted effort to tear down our military. to tear down the fiber of our country.
to kick the One True God out of our country... to bankrupt our country... to borrow till no one else will loan to us.
to reward those that just want to sit on the front porch, to punish the producers...

anticipate the worst.

do things that help slow down the downturn.

Listening to the radio yesterday a talk show on financial issues. ALL of the callers seemed to ask/wonder WTH they are thinking, etc.

We need to stop assuming that some POS that got elected actually has the country's best interests in mind, he doesn't. We need to stop believing that the folks in congress have the country's best interests in mind, most of them don't.

Essentially, we all need to move past the DENIAL stage.

Funny, I am having a debate on another forum about the leadership in this country and how it has become the classical definition of an oligarchy.

Public service is no longer public service. It's a career for many if not most in Congress.

important to remember, that while both sides of the aisle have issues here, ONLY the Administration can shut down parks, deny benefits, and lock Veterans out of their memorials...............

The current Administration is that run by Obama. Republicans have not shut a single park, or kicked a single old person out of their home. Just saying.............

Well the panic is slowly starting to set in as we approach default and the still ongoing shutdown. A coworker called me and asked if the country or city was better in SHTF. He then questioned "if it all shuts down where will we get our food"? "I live in a small town and we will be cut off first!" I explain short and long term goals and how to go about it. I told him if he was worried short term ramen and canned goods go a long ways. I tried to lead the horse to water but in the end his answer was "I'll just come to your house". I advised him about that leading to his early demise were I there and that most likely by the time he woke up I wouldn't be. He hasn't a clue where I live anyway. The nervous laugh told the story of his democratic minded pucker factor while I stared at him now pissed.
He is about 130lbs overweight on top of it all. He has been talking to me for over 2 years about getting "a gun" stated his negative opinion of assault rifles, decided on a joe biden shotgun being politically correct enough and finally bought a tarus judge 410/45LC. He is GTG on ammo as he has about 1/2 box of 45 left and a whole box of them 410 loads. mmm ok save one to shoot yourself before being eaten.
I had several of these type discussions this week as the sheeple look on the hill and see the wolf and begin to mill around looking for comfort while bleating ever louder but still filling their mouths with green grass instead of taking the needed action for escape.
I had best be on my game in leaving in a timely fashion otherwise the sheepdog may have to start the lamb slaughter early as it appears they are looking for a life raft to cling to as the ship sinks.

Funny, about three years ago I had a similar conversation with a friend. He said, well I'll just come to your house. I said, come on over. He said okay....with hesitation in his voice as he saw the look on my face....he said with a question "so I won't be able to come to your place?" I said, why would I take the little food I have and split with you? Every meal you eat is one less for me and my family. Would you shoot me?, he asked. I said, if you make the right decision, I won't have to. We have only talked about once per year since then. I can say though, he still hasn't prepared, and he won't be knocking on my door...(he won't get that close unless I'm gone.) same kinda deal though, 100 lbs overweight, blood pressure issues, dislikes guns, doesn't prep, etc.

I have pretty tight lips about my preps, but since I live where we can get some hurricanes we have talked about preparing for them. He thinks I have enough food for my family for about 2-3 weeks and knows I own one pistol.....(little does he know), but it still concerns me as he asked. If TSHTF I'm not even sure he could get to me as he lives about 40 minutes drive time away. He won't be walking, I can be sure of that.
