SITE GLITCH 9-9-13

Just spent 47 minutes on the phone with Godaddy on today's site glitch. Yes I know, I got the "forbidden" page as well. NO ONE WAS "BANNED". Hell I don't think we have banned anyone this entire year???

Responded to 50 emails this a.m. regarding this.

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE, if you have not already, use the "email newsletter signup" link to the right in the ads section if you want to get notifications of the site being down.

Once again, if you use that email sign up link, you will get the emails from JRH but this is the only mass response venue we have to notify you of site problems here at S and P.

We are considering our own server for the site, it's not cheap however..... Trying to weigh the pros and cons of that move. Techies feel free to weigh in on that :) Me no speakee techie ;)

I thought I was signed up for emails but after this latest issue I didn't get an email so my apologies.

You might have your techies check out http://www.rochenhost.com/virtualiza...virtual-server ....My church uses this company for our website but we have a very small package. You might be able to use a smaller package it just depends on how much data you are using (not sure how much data is being used with all the pics). We have had 0 problems with Forbidden pages or being blacklisted because of other questionable sites. The issues I have had have all been resolved promptly. One incident I received an email about an issue before I knew I had an issue. If your techs want to ask me questions send them my email 1Admin and I will be glad to help.

You might be able to use the Reseller hosting plan 3.

You also might look into the company that is hosting SurvivalBlog...the company i mentioned below uses Vbulletin for their forums too.
