When a nuke goes off in anger anywhere in the world, what will you do?
Will you be one of those that sits in suburbia WATCHING it on TV, convincing yourself that nothing further is coming?
Will you be one of many trying to "convince" your wife/family to leave harm's way?
Will you be one of those that busies himself with trivial things while not taking the important ACTION of getting out? Counting your beans and bullets might SEEM useful then, but it won't be nearly as useful as getting out of harm's way.
Will you be one of those that rationalizes it, "it won't get any worse than this" "well the media says that it was an accidental attack on such and such" Or my personal favorite- "My high level source (read some dumbarse that's maybe a local LEO) tells me that he will be able to give me 2 hours notice in time to leave."
Will you look to your "non prepping" wife (or husband) for some sort of "approval" to go?
Will you sit and watch the TV, get on the net, trying to get more "data" and "do research" in order to make your decision to leave, wasting HOURS that could have gotten your family clear of harm's way?
Or will you take the "risk" of losing a day or two of work, come up with a good excuse you've been working on for a while, and get out of harm's way?
Your family's lives may very well be on the line. If a nuke goes off in the world things could go terminal ANYWHERE in the world really really quickly. Quick action, sharp decisions and moving fast will be what the survivors do. The "researchers", the "TV will warn me" crowd, the "I'll ask Momma for permission" nutless weenies and the HOBBY survivalists will perish.
Harsh, but very true.
Get your line in the sand worked out NOW, then stick to it. If you don't, you WILL flounder, you WILL compromise. Seen it happen so many times when people should have bugged out.
