While perhaps a pre SHTF ordeal it is something we should all look at IMO because as we see shootings even justified become messy and ruin your life and make it a SHTf event of your life. Also i dont care if it's with the NRA or another company and i have zero experiences so if someone else does i'd like to hear about it

I thought about that, so I bought an umbrella policy with my auto insurance. It's like $30 a month, and provides up to $1 million liability insurance. It doesn't cover lawyers, etc. but the only way I'm going to shoot someone is if my life or the lives of my family are in danger. At that point, I tell the cops, "S/He was going to kill me/them. I want a lawyer." Keep in mind that NOTHING you say to the police will be used to HELP you. I think that's how Zimmerman did it. He made his basic statement, then he shut up.
