      Book is awesome... if you lived closer id loan it to you. I highly recommend it. Marcus actually consulted on the filming. On Beck today, Glenn said Marcus was in the Hollywood big wigs offices before filming started and told the producers "if you dishonor my friends I WILL KILL YOU" the lawyer made him leave.
      Two other books to get with this one is "No Easy Day" and "The Red Circle"

      I'm a rabid reader and these are my favorites "American sniper" is a good read as well.

          This movie was GREAT!!!!! RIP to all of those that lost their lives on that Mountain. GOD let Marcus live to tell this extraordinary tale!
          5 stars, 3 thumbs up!

          I could be a cyborg terminator and never have the juevos that these guys had!

              saw movie tonight...
              the fight reminded me of what I'd read in the book.
              the stay in the village was presented as being a short stay.,

              great movie.

              a question for the vets here.
              I wanted to honor the vets that were presented at the end of the movie.
              I tried one method... it didn't go over well in the movie house.
              what would be a proper way to show honor and respect to those who died when their actual true photos are being shown at the end of the movie.
