Not only can you do everything but wipe your butt with a smart phone these days, you can now locate "dangerous gun owners."

Having said that, there is nothing to stop a person from, say, marking the Brady Campaign headquarters, Joe Biden's home where he shoots shotgun into the air, City Hall in NYC where Bloomberg's office is, Wal Mart parking lots, cow pastures...the possibilities are endless.

Useless tool as they have no oversight on it. But would be fun to mark other locations to swamp the system. :D

But on a more serious note, such an app is potentially dangerous and pretty sure it can and will get pulled when and if someone takes notice their address is marked. And the resulting lawsuit as to defamation of character and invasion of privacy ensues on the originating company.

some people said to get the app, and just start going through the phone book adding people to the list. If you want to screw it up need to find a particular demographic to target, and have several people to vote for that demographic too. These things work kind of on a rating system. Give everyone a vote, and it's easy to filter out the noise. give only a few targeted people a vote, and it obfusticates the data, makes it useless. Not saying I would resort to those kind of shenanigans, just saying it's possible and all...
