Selling the "debt" to whom? Who would buy it?

I think we all have seen the writing on the wall ever more clearly... I ponder what little event will get that stone to roll downhill? Seems like people have been saying the "crash" is nigh for years, even decades ago, yet it continues to get propped up further... So I am at a loss to say WHEN or WHAT it will look like... All I know is it is unsustainable and the cards will tumble eventually...

i too got the request for a "sign in"
there was an option of a "trial"
        i passed...

        just gathering from comments..

if i was another nation, i'd sell of u.s. assets if i thought the u.s. was worse off than
        my own...
i had access to a financial leader of a very small and poor country (war torn also) about a year ago.
i asked him that question. their primary reserves were in $$ and their gold was in the u.s.
i wonder what he thinks now.

            couldnt read it either but
The Chinese have been openly buying our debt and some places are buying in secret. America is still going and the dow and 500 is still making money, despite the doom and gloom predictions aka hopes of some, because the Europeans are investing in us and not themselves.
The investors are gambling that we will not collapse and if we do they will hold enough to run if not the whole country enough sections of it to make a huge difference because they believe even after a collapse we will recover sooner than others and we will still make them profit
