Saw about 15 minutes of news last night on this (CNN)... Looks like Zimmerman, based on testimony alone, should be acquitted, but factor in the stupidity factor, and who knows what will happen...

I wonder if the FIJA proponents, Hispanics and whites will riot if he gets a GUILTY verdict?

Heard yesterday on one of the news channels that she had been caught in five lies thus far.

Seems that the defense has torn some holes in the prosecutions case. One eyewitness seems to be sure that T was on top doing the ground and pound. All the defense has to do is have one jury member have a reasonable doubt. Heard also that two members of the jury live in households with firearms.

My feeling, this will be/is a race trial not a murder trial. The outcome will play a roll on whether the city will riot. Although, it may riot no matter what the outcome.

Sad that the prosecution didn't prep their witnesses better and let their own "star witness" get torn to shreds by the defense. It's almost like they are trying to throw the case.

Which...may be a distinct possibility. "Hey, we tried. Didn't work out as planned. Sorry folks."
