  • zimmerman/ martin trial results/predictions

mods, if there's anyway this is too controversial, please advise and we'll delete.

    ok folks,
bottom line question... is this a situation that could cause rioting or civil unrest.

    i see 3 possible outcomes.
1.. zimmerman, after a long trial, is found not guilty and free to go home....
will there be a portion of population that would want to riot and burn?

2.. zimmerman, after a long trial, (and some protesting around the court house, with some marching and signs)
is found guilty; what will be public response? will a portion of population rise up and riot and burn?

3.. zimmerman gets some kind of plea bargain of a minor charge and "walks" on probation, or a very minor prison time.
24 months or less? would this outcome trigger civil unrest by certain portions of the population?

i'm curious about this town/county/surrounding area... anybody on here know the demographics and race relationships?
any outside rabble rousers in town yet?

any response to above questions? predictions?

Well, let me just put it this way. We live out in the country, but I still commute 5 days a week to work in the ghetto of Jacksonville, Florida.
Normally it's pretty quiet here, just one city block from the outer edge of cracktown, and I usually only have two 357 magnum handguns in my vehicle.
But for the forseeable future I'm going to have a rifle on board as well. I haven't decided if that will be an AK or a Winchester 94.
I usually drive an old Buick during the week 'cause it gets 28 mpg and it blends in with the surroundings, but as we get close to a verdict I'll most likely switch to my GMC pickup - it weighs 6080 pounds. That's a lot of kinetic energy if I need it.

I fully expect blacks to riot no matter which way the verdict reads.

Zims gonna get the shaft either way.if nit in public in jail...I don't think they'll get the full charge. But expect the FSA to be ready to burn and loot if the chance arises. Especially in that Ao ....

        Unfortunately either way they win.

Zimmerman gets off- they riot, cause a lot of grief and what a perfect excuse. Also it is NOT 1992 anymore...... social media, texting and mass usage of cell phones mean "word" will get around quick and FEW will want to miss their chance to "get ders".

Zimmerman gets the chair or whatever- sends a clear message that he shot a protected group, don't shoot a protected group. Some overly legal oriented CCW holders will take notice- don't actually use that weapon in self defense, unless the perp is not afrikan.

Once that trial starts, folks should be well away from that area.... All the ammo, gear, etc. isn't going to be as valuable as the peace of mind of being the fudge away from the potential mess. ANYTHING can be replaced except life..... ACT accordingly.

I'll echo what's been said already. One thing I've seen that the FSA will also cause trouble even if the verdict comes back as guilty. People cause civil disturbances when their sports teams win an important game, why should this be any different?

And like Lowdown said, social media will make sure everyone knows about it in real time.

He goes to jail for sure. My thoughts is this regime has far reaching tentacles and they will want to remind the public that you are to listen to the authorities under every situation. Even if the authority in this case is a 911 operator. I am watching it now and I want to punch the prosecutor.

                          a joke...

zims screwed either way. fsa gets what they want a free for all,, politicians get what they want " a win" on gun control etc on this.
only people to truly lose out are the tax payers and those who live in the AO that gets hit by the looting/marching and racial tension side effects. dont think for a moment we wont have " dat's fo treyvon.." type attacks ......no matter how the trial goes.

and that AO is nationwide in the big cities. My present workplace is smack dab in the middle of the "bad" part of town, but in a town of 25,000 or so. My trunk gun, isnt in the trunk anymore and my xds .45 has been replaced with my xdm .45. My office is surrounded by 2 8ft chain link fences with barb wire (put in as the bad part of town grew like a bad rash) so leaving the rifle and xdm in the truck is safER. but now my xds come into work WITH me so I can get to my truck should violence ensue. Heck when the verdict is read I may take the day off and go to the mountains. Could be a great time for the present administration if chaos ensues in all the big cities and towns. Martial law similar to katrina and bye bye weapons. Good thing I gave all mine guns back for a amazon gift card.

I think the big urban fsa centers will be worse (longer term issues) than the smaller areas. Sanford has all of the surrounding areas to feed it...now what will be interesting is to see how the Hispanic /Latino communities react if the fsa starts looting type areas.....luckily for me I live in a non treyvon fsa neighborhood .....but I will have to commute along the outskirts of one.......I just dunno if the PBR (plain basic rifle) will fir in my new tuna can on wheels lmao.
