    Any word of rioting yet???

I hear tomorrow there will be some protest.
I don't think they have the plums to do it.

From what I understand, if he wins on a Stand Your Ground Hearing, the Feds and civil crap won't have a chance. Heard on news O'Mara said he will get his handgun back and he continued on, and he needs to carry it now more than ever.

Of course they will review it because of the public outcry but it doesn't meet the criteria needed for them to be a part of the case. Their options for going after him are getting real narrow because the civil case might not fly either

Wow, wouldn't have ever guessed this would happen:

The Justice Department said Sunday that it will review the George Zimmerman case for possible civil rights violations, after a jury acquitted the Florida neighborhood watch volunteer in the fatal shooting of 17-year-old Trayvon Martin, while Zimmerman's attorney says his client's safety is at risk.

And I just about spit my coffee out when I read this:

“In the wake of the verdict, I know those passions may be running even higher,” Obama said. “But we are a nation of laws.”
President Obama on Sunday called the death of Trayvon Martin a “tragedy for America” but urged people to remain calm, in his first public remarks since a jury Saturday night acquitted the man who fatally shot the Florida teen.

It's never over. Never let a good crisis go to waste.

Seemed to be quiet for the most parts in Sanford per my contacts. They told me that Sanford police chief said they had had an uptick in calls, but "it is a Saturday night". Seems Oakland CA had some cars vandalized and some car burning per TV reports.

Peaceful and BPers in the same sentence is an oxymoron. I'll believe it when I see it.

i hope you are right about "nothing to do with the trial"
i just wonder why this isn't on the national news.
    i suspect protus is right.

If you asking why this assault is not on the national news it's because there is nothing spectacular about it. I can tell you just on the streets gang violence that crosses racial lines (both ways) is not news. It is simply ignored in most cases and this was probably more of a random violence act, a "making bones" act or perhaps we are high and mad act. From schools to the streets this occurs more than most want to admit and in prisons it's not uncommon at all but truthfully interracial fights/assaults are more closely monitored and dealt with by the inmates than in public.
Besides unless my eyes are mistaken this isn't a white issue trial LOL
