Gotta agree on ya on this one. This administration is doing everything it can to take away our rights in every aspect of our lives. The gun issue is the one that's the most obvious.

The only thing Kerry's signature means is how little they regard our rights.
Survival question. What do I need most, right now?

It has to be ratified by a 2/3 vote in the senate. It won't go anywhere in the U.S. More media fodder against the conservatives.

in 1991 when I first started becoming interested in in the survivalist movement the UN was THE boogey man. I heard all kinds of things from operation vampire killer to UN sponsored multi jurisdictional task forces made up of local LEO, Feds and UN observers. Back then un marked black helicopters were everywhere. Now so many years later looking back it would seem that the paranoid conspiracy theories involving US politicians selling out to global masters and handing over US sovereignty are not so far fetched. Now we find ourselves there,, it is no longer supposition or the works of survival fiction. They are attempting it NOW,, as we watch. Still I am amazed how there can still be people who refuse to see what is right in front of them.

Back in the day it was hogwash and now it is in plain sight no black helicopters needed

Now that the treaty has been signed it can lay dormant until such time the liberals regain control of the Senate.
However, I read somewhere that a President can "un-sign" it. Hopefully that will take place very soon after a conservative gains the presidency in 2016.

I won't disagree with the point that a President has the power to turn off a treaty.

But how many sitting Presidents have ever reversed any measure of gun control?

And no matter what our esteemed Secretary of State says, this can and probably will be used as a form of gun control eventually. It might not take away any of our rights, but it sure can limit the amount of imports we bring in. The cheap imported ammo might become a distant memory if (when) this administration puts a stop to imports in "compliance" with this treaty.

Mark my words, this is just a cleverly disguised anti-gun measure that has more implications than a lot of people see right now.
