where we end up,what we achieve to be ..and how we'll get there...
The other day i was out in the yard working in our garden. I had just got done messing with the chicks and wife unit was trimming lettuce ,harvesting some peas. So im in this section of the garden that kinda just exploded with everything. My fault really.
See im one of those I WANT IT now types , at times. So i planted seeds ( old ones we had mind you) and then 3 weeks go by and i replant older seeds again...and then i get the idea that hey lets add some compost. So there's this 8x8ft section thats looks like im somewhere in Laos doing some " O and I " ;) So im fighting my way thru some mater plants,,getting poked in the face by the tomatillias that came thru..trying not to step on beans while trying to see what the heck kind of sqaush is trying to grow under all that mess. Then my wife starts laughing.. Im doing my best twister moves to not fall or squash anything and i ask " what's so funny.."
" you remind me of (opsec deleted)".
So i pause,.and i think,,no..im way better looking....so thats not it ;P and i slowly back step out of the jungle trying not to step on anything.
I stand there for a second and think and go " whatever".
See i had this big over grown mess of awesomeness. She had seen such before..at said buddies place long ago..and his planting methods..
i smiled ,,laughed and said well..it worked for him didnt it!
i just got done an hour ago adding another 100+sq ft to the garden...built 1/2 a deep raised bed ( i ran outta screws) ...and tilled by hand another section to be planted tomorrow night .
Years ago i didnt have any of this..."mess" to worry about....
.progression....
it all takes time but with out progression in all aspects of our lives where do we end up..no where imho.
so...thanks to that seed throwing,Ak dropping buddy who i look back on for a smile and inspiration of what can be done if you try ...:cool:
