I really find it hard to believe the amount of guts these women had to have. The families also for never giving up.Survival question. What do I need most, right now? -
I am happy for them... But I also find it hard to believe that they didn't have any opportunity until now to escape... None of them looked like they were in shackles or bound up for 10 years... Even a piece of sharp rusted metal across the throat of the captor would have done it... I just think something more is to this story... Like you said, some kind of mental thing...

How about: A 2005 domestic-violence filing in Cuyahoga County Domestic Relations Court accused Ariel Castro of twice breaking the nose of his children's mother, knocking out a tooth, dislocating each shoulder and threatening to kill her and her daughters three or four times in a year. I understand the female emotions in this... It is the most evil of male dominance violence, but I cannot tell you that I believe that those girls did not have any other opportunity to maim their imprisoners or escape in 10 years time... The neighbors houses are barely 10 feet apart and the padlocked door to the basement was a normal door with a small lock. I have not read about any cages or other shackles found in the house. Nor read about any sound insulation... The girls don't look like they have had duct tape on their mouths for 10 years either... It just doesn't add up...
The mental side of this story cannot be dismissed with the info we have at this time...
