  • Weight of water & safety

So I was looking for a different way of storing water and saw some containers that hold 160 gallons and are made to stack. My first thought is cool, but what about the weight.
If I stack 2 on a roughly 4 ft. square space that's 2500lbs. So I had better make sure the floor can hold that much.
    Just something to consider.
Survival question. What do I need most, right now?

Yep, was wondering the same thing on those bathtub aqua container things. While having that extra water is great, is the floor loading enough?

i believe there are formulas that can tell you how to calculate the load your floor can handle.

most tub areas in well built places are fine and some older raised flooring may need to be re-enforced to hold the weight full time but is usually not that hard to do
