Anti 2A Bills DEAD
With the nation focused on Boston and Ricin, the Senate was quietly voting on suppressing our rights today. However, they failed to meet the 60 votes necessary on the universal checks, magazine limits and modern sporting rifle ban!
Hootie Hooooo!!!!!!
But just because this battle is won, the war is far from over. Keep writing the Congress critters and let them know NO legislation suppressing our rights further can or will be tolerated.

Actually, not necessarily dead...they can vote again at a later date. Hence call your Senators and tell them no. Some Dems crossed the aisle on some of these, so keep up the pressure.
And Harry Reid needs to get voted out. So much for his NRA B rating...Experience is a cruel teacher, gives the exam first and then the lesson.

This is what I'm waiting for. My first guess after that Rose Garden meeting he made a call to the AG asking what he could do within the law and probably even how far he could bend...break it before it became too much. And then just a little further because nobody's stopped him so far.Originally posted by Benn Gleck View PostWe shouldn't get too happy just yet, Osama is as mad as spoiled brat gets when he doesnt get his way. I wouldn't be suprised if he came up with some "executive orders" to take away some segment of the second amendment.Experience is a cruel teacher, gives the exam first and then the lesson.

I'm looking for new taxes on ammo/gun sales or mandatory insurance. If he can get Obamacare through, one of these could be done.Originally posted by Grand58742 View PostThis is what I'm waiting for.
