Video of the actual explosion. Warning, some foul language used:

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature...v=046MuD1pYJg#!

Looking at this...two explosions ten seconds apart separated by about a hundred yards or so.

yip...typical...run away..get folks funneled then set off the second charge to maximize injury/death.

April 19th, 1775 was Lexington and Concord IIRC.

Why are they calling the 15th "Patriots day?"
Boris- "He's famous, has picture on three dollar bill!"

Rocky- "Wow! I've never even seen a three dollar bill!"

Boris- "Is it my fault you're poor?"

But again, this is all circumspect and guesswork. I'll wait for hard data to come out and hope and pray my second analysis isn't correct.
Third possibility (tin foil glowing)....that our own government did this as a diversion/fuel the flames on gun control/taking away more liberties/use drones in the search to justify them. I know this is a FAR stretch but I always look at the government as well as the foreign/domestic angle. No accusations, just keep it in the back of your mind as a POSSIBILITY as the 'facts' come out.

Happens to always be celebrated on the third Monday of April in MA and ME. Kind of like Labor Day in that regard

My tin foil hat sees the "key words" that were used in justifying NDAA 2012 as being used now to describe Boston.

The media is now saying things like "looks like a War Zone", "the US is now the Battlefield" and "we must use any and all means necessary to find those responsible". These are the same sort of things said after 9/11, the same things said during the creation of "The Patriot Act", the same things said during the creation of NDAA 2012, the same things said during the signing of NDAA 2012 (remember he promised he would not sign, it but then jumped on signing it).

This will most likely be used to increase "surveillance" on all of us, more spying on Internet usage, more spying on any purchases of products that could be used in such attacks. It may be used to limit availability of things like "reloading supplies". Used to add more pat downs, more body scanners, more random searches, more roadside body cavity searches without real cause... in general More tyranny!

Also it is already being used to push the "See Something, Say Something" which is really just the same type of the "Citizen Spy Grid" the Third Reich setup for its citizens to spy on each other. If we the people are spying on citizens, it is alot harder for us to watch what big brother is doing too.

I wouldn't quite go that far. Problem is, nobody, including the usual suspects, is taking credit for this. The Taliban already called in and claimed they had nothing to do with this. Nothing out of Al Qaeda so far...not unusual, but certainly out of character for them as this would be a score for them. So investigators need info to figure out who did it and can at least ask for help. This isn't citizens informing on each other, it's investigators trying to get closure to the thousands affected.

Just like the Atlanta Olympics, it's not easy finding who did it since nobody so far has claimed responsibility. So asking for help is a normal course of action in these cases.

Why are some people afraid to say the "T" word...is it that hard to say "it was a terrorist act?"

However, I'm not real comfortable with what went on in this interview:

Axelrod is a snake. And the transcript of what he starts saying around the 20 second mark:

You use those words and it means something very specific in people's mind. And I'm sure what was going through the president's mind is -- we really don't know who did this -- it was tax day. Was it someone who was pro--you know, you just don't know.
                        I want to know pro-what.

Pro tends to be opposite of your political beliefs. And generally anything on the "right" side of the aisle is "pro" if you are "anti" something. Not liking this line of thought...

I am worried they are about to say a "Returning Vet" or "Right Wing Extremist" did this... And that is why we need to spy on the citizens.

The liberals play book has all of about six pages in it......

You could always script this similar to the OKC coverup.

Reports of people seeing mideastern men near the truck, then "we are looking for three mideastern men." Sounds a lot like "we caught a Saudi, no wait we didn't catch a Saudi" All they need do now is pull some whacked out drugged up no emotion idiot up who was "speeding away with no plates on his car."

Thankfully people are a little smarter now and with the internet everyone is questioning stuff now a days.

I look for the libs to use page 5 of their playbook on this if they can.

Ignore the REAL THREAT (Muzzies blowing stuff up) just like they did in the 90's and then go after the ones who aren't really doing stuff (that's us folks).

Hell if you have a pressure cooker now, are white, have a gun (probably a Bible too) and don't love the gubmint your probably a suspect now.

they are afraid of using the T-word because a horrific act of terror commited inside the CONUS makes all the security BS of the last 12 years look like what it is...BS and it makes the kenyan in chief look like the bumbling moron he is.
