  • Early Spring Harvest

I'm trying to keep a positive spin on an ice storm in April. Every year in the early spring the late ice storms or early wind/tornadoes provide a small harvest of wood it seems. While the ice storm yesterday didn't provide much I did harvest enough to possibly cook a meal if needed. It will be added to the stack and properly seasoned before it is needed I hope.

I like that you included in the pic the tool used (I presume). "Positive Spin" is something I try to focus on. A good attitude is not everything but it makes anything more bearable.

Yep, skipped the gym that morning at 0400 with the weather so I turned it into an opportunity to do the manual labor and get an arm burn going with the small logs and turning the remaining brush into manageable sections rather than using power tools
