Interesting to see the seriously Pro-2A attitudes of the 15,000 officers polled. If it was a couple of hundred, this might have been a statistical blip, but 15K is a pretty serious chunk of the LEO population.

I voted in this poll as well and anyone who knows me more than a few minutes knows I fully support the 2nd as well as the other Amendments and Constitution. It's the very reason I do what I do and have done since I was 19.
In the majority of these incidents, that spur the knee jerk reactionary law passing, every single act the perpetrator committed was already illegal so no more restrictive laws are needed.

I think we could get a major reduction in crime by actually penalizing criminals- you know crazy ideas like actually punishing them when they do crime- versus trying to make up new laws that won't affect the crime rate any ways.
