  • If you can't ban it, tax it:

More attacks from the national scale on our gun rights:

"For too long, gun victims and society at large have borne the brunt of the costs of gun violence," Maloney said in a written statement. "My bill would change that by shifting some of that cost back onto those who own the weapons."
Yeah, even though each and every State that's tried to pass it thus far has removed it because of the lack of support on BOTH sides of the aisle. So...let's try it at the national level and see if that works and waste more time. Incredible.

And furthermore, this does little more than tax those responsible gun owners and turns a blind eye to the victims of gun violence that are often shot by illegal weapons in the hands of those that wouldn't buy this insurance anyway. So let's make gun owners get insurance...no, let's call it what it is, a fine on the law abiding and well, those that use guns illegally will still get the free pass or "fine" they will never pay anyway. Grand idea you twit!

Oh, and don't forget this little tidbit:

Which of course still has to pass the Senate. Which I don't believe the votes are there...yet...until Bloomberg, Uncle Joe and his highness get involved. So we are looking at highly regulated or no imports of cheap AK mags, Russian/Serbian ammo, even imported arms from nations like Germany, Brazil, Turkey, Italy and the likes.

    Another round of letter writing...

what is does is now turn those who follow the law into criminals. how do they think the bad guys get there stuff now???? opens the black market bigger than poo for those who still want there stuff from overseas. yea it might cost more but if you need or want something it can be had in this country right now. no laws will ever stop smuggling ever.
