  • RUN - HIDE - FIGHT youtube video

This is a start in the right direction.

NOTE: Subtle but at the very beginning you see a posting that weapons are illegal on the premises. That means the people are unarmed yet the shooter doesn't seem to obey the sign, maybe he can't read and we need more literacy training for criminals so they will obey signs?

The right direction would not to be a sheeple and be able to defend yourself and those around you. To have to make a video and tell adults to run, hide or fight if someone is trying to kill them shows how far liberal nannyism thinking has gone in this country. A 6yr old will try and do that on their own with no guidance. Maybe they need one of LD3s T-Shirts!
Even with a weapon you should run or hide if possible but the fight choice would be a whole lot better with a real weapon.

Not bad... Hats off to Houston, Texas! Where I work (major State University), weapons are not allowed and will get you fired, arrested and prosecuted, which means we are all sitting ducks... I have already formulated my "active shooter" plan and know exactly what I will do if need be... The only variables being if I am somewhere else in the building, but even then I know what rooms are the most secure and where all the exits are...

I agree for the most part. Like Rmpl, where I work we are not allowed real weapons....no guns, knives, batons...nothing. Training, situational awareness (knowing exit location/accessibility/viability, secure lockable areas, etc.) and planning are key to surviving these situations.

What I find interesting is that, with the libertards in control, that the gubmint is actually asking people to think for themselves and plan. Could it REALLY be that they're admitting that they won't be there in seconds to save the day?

Now it DOES make sense that a state like Texas would take a more common sense approach. Depicting folks with real training would probably make it seem unreal and unreachable to the average sheeple. Depicting using things that are in any cube farm office building COULD make them look around and think a little. Gotta start with baby steps.

But the lady who works next to me has a big, long BREAD KNIFE in her "women's stash" of food, plates, and utensils... My plan is to take that first thing as she is clueless in how to use it DEFENSIVELY... In our "what if" conversations, I even told her I was planning on it being there... LOL!

Unless I missed it, I would suggest adding being aware of your environment. The shooter just waltzed right into an office building not dressed the part...but nobody noticed. As far as I'm concerned, he shouldn't have even got that far.
