  • 8/28 was AWESOME!

I don't believe I've ever been to a more inspiring event. Anyone who missed it can watch the event on Glenn Beck's web site.

The 500,000 plus people who attended were orderly, polite, helpful and most of all respectful. Imagine that many people in one place with no ugliness or fighting. Even when some reporters tried to pretend they were conservative attendees and attempted to instigate something hateful to film for their website.

The grounds of the Lincoln and Washington memorials were spotless when the crowd left. Unbelievable.

I was so happy I took the time and spend the money to go. It was something I'll never forget.

I will also be going to the 9/11 -9/12 march. While Glenn's event was a religious one, this one is a march protesting the direction the Country is going.

I simply can no longer sit by and watch as the country I love is being destroyed.

I bet they can't say the same of Al Sharpton's rally spot.

My grandfather use to say, America started to destroy itself when they said a kid could not pray in school just before his math test.
He also said that politicians who make laws to protect them directly from upset and angry constituents, is a huge step towards communism.

I am thinking he was referring to the special police in the capital building, and the ban on guns in all federal buildings.
Bad guys don't care about bans, so they now had to add metal detectors in all federal buildings. Because you know, we have to over protect those overpaid, do half the work of most Americans, freeloading federal employees... =)~

Thanks MB! We were all hoping you'd post an AAR.
Boris- "He's famous, has picture on three dollar bill!"

Rocky- "Wow! I've never even seen a three dollar bill!"

Boris- "Is it my fault you're poor?"

Thanks for posting after you got back! I was curious what people who went would have to say. It sounds like an awesome event. What a testimony everyone who attended gave to America.

1Admin- Is an AAR an After Action Report? :)
