Military Denying Soldiers Breakfast

Apparently the military is no longer providing breakfast for it's military in Afghanistan citing budget cuts and the deploying soldiers are being told to plan for meals and have their family budget this into the equation. I'm not sure where you are supposed to buy breakfast at when you are assigned to a FOB or beyond while on patrol. What's next your own bullets!?!
I don't know what the answer is but I know what it shouldn't be and if you have anyone that can make a difference or might be able to help then I, personally, am asking you to step up and help those who can't fight that battle for themselves. Contact those who can stop this and let them know this is unacceptable. I pulled 20 and this is beyond my comprehension because I know what it takes to stay fit, carry the loads and do the job.

i haven't heard this info.
when i think of the welfare payments that are going out.
the free breakfasts that are being given to kids in public schools.
welfare should get -0-
military should be well paid
well fed
and well equipped.

Just wrote letters to my congressmen and passed it along to my brother (24 yrs retired Army) and some of my fellow (ex) Airmen along with several of my friends.

I pray that those protecting our freedom will find the nourishment and stamina to hold out, and the the good Lord shield them from any and all harm.

if this happening its bull. they should be the first fed and best equipped. those fat cats in washington should be the first to give up some of that first class gravy they get fed and parties they though for no great cause. if they had to brown bag it like the rest of us things would change quickly. heres a great idea quit paying all those foreign countries and pay our military better wages and benifits. i'll write my congressmen and tell how i feel too....

Apparently I have lived long enough to become irrelevant in my thinking and when the economy is so bad troops aren't getting fed S HAS HTF.
