      You've got that right.
      Maybe he knew too much.
Those Generals who have been fired lately should take this seriously.

For many years this sailor has stood the watch.

While some of us were in our bunks at night
        This sailor stood the watch

While some of us were in school learning our trade
        This shipmate stood the watch

Yes.. even before some of us were born into this world
        This shipmate stood the watch

In those years when the storm clouds of war were seen brewing on the horizon of history
        This shipmate stood the watch

Many times he would cast an eye ashore and see his family standing there, needing his guidance and help
Needing that hand to hold during those hard times
But he still stood the watch

He stood the watch for many years
He stood the watch so that we, our families and our fellow countrymen could sleep soundly in safety, each and every night
Knowing that a sailor stood the watch

Today we are here to say
        "Shipmate... the watch stands relieved
Relieved by those You have trained ,Guided, and Lead
Shipmate you stand relieved.. we have the watch..."

"Boatswain..Standby to pipe the side...Shipmate going Ashore.."

          Fair winds and following seas.
I understand the suspicious nature of all these recent deaths, I also know there was honor in what Chris was doing with the alleged shooter, and that this was a possible, horrible outcome.
Can't claim to know what happened, but do know that it could just be one of those things that happen because of what you are doing. Kindof like getting shot in combat.

The more I have read about this the more it seems realllllllll fishy.

I want to know why all of these Team 6 members keep dying.

Once again another event where I sure would like to know if that Marine he was helping with PTSD was on any psychotopic prescribed drugs from a psychotherapist...

There is nothing fishy about a POS gunning down 2 guys helping him on the pretense of PTSD when in fact it is nothing more than thugish behavior. I hope Texas moves him to the front of the line.
RIP to a hero who tried to help even after retiring to be a family man

Blessing to the Family. this is really sad. The wife and I just finished reading his book American Sniper, last week. It is a very good book, an easy read. A very humble and down to earth person. Both the wife and I commented after readiing the book that he was very lucky to have survived.
We don't have access to tv right now and there has been very little on the local Tx., radio staions.
Best wishes to his wife and 2 children.
Survival question. What do I need most, right now?

My thoughts on this guy are a little different. I'm certainly not crying over his death. But non-the-less, his death does seem fishy from what I've heard.

Here's a writer I respect with a great article about "The Pseudo–Courage of chris kyle"
Chris Kyle as a Navy SEAL sniper in Fallujah, Iraq. That kind of courage, which is conspicuous in danger and enterprise, if devoid...
