  • Lesson Learned

So it was so cold yesterday I needed a jump to start my car. I figure I will be ok cause I park my car in the garage. This morning no such luck. I even have one of those battery car jumpers and it wouldn't start it.

Just because you don't have problems now you should change out your battery every 5 years or so. My battery is at least 6 years old if not older. No different than oil changes just part of the preventive maintenance and since I was a 63W in the Reserves I should know better, I have to give myself a grade of: F

It happens. We all make mistakes, only some of us learn from the mistakes. I've been guilty of that also.

At least it happened in the garage and not a parking lot at night. Been there and learned.
What a long, strange trip it's been.....

well it only took me about 2 hours to change the battery out...since I know that the service center is the #1 profit center at a dealership they made this car so that you would go in for every little thing. Remove a bracket, remove the washer fluid resevoir, remove a fuse box, remove the battery holder bracket, finally disconnect the battery. What happened to the good ol days?

Got'er done and she starts up like a champ!!
