      Breaking OPSEC rules here but:

I am planning on heading down Saturday AM (leaving 05:30ish) from the "Asheville" area if anyone wants to car pool?

If they arrive before I leave, I should have room to bring some "When in doubt, bug out" Survival and Preparedness.com T SHIRTS with me to the show.

Folks from the forums be sure to drop by and say hello.

Wow! Still recovering from the great spread they put on last night!! Whew! Just the food alone was worth more than the cost of the dinner. You remember in The Flintstones when Fred got those big Brontosaurus ribs delivered to his car and the car turned over cause the ribs were so big? The steaks last night were like that. The baked potatoes could have doubled as footballs! These folks know how to put on a spread. The fellowship was great and things were able to be said more privately in the smaller setting.

Awesome event, met a LOT of folks from the forums there.

Not yet prepped- don't forget about the shirt. :)

Great event at a facility that was second to NONE I've ever been to a preparedness type show at. The host group were extremely hospitable. I'm hoping this becomes a regular thing in NC.

I wasn't able to hear any of the speakers 'cept my own ramblings :) We did share an area with David/SouthernPrepper1 so that was nice to hang out with him a little more and shoot the breeze as we had time.

RR you would have loved it! I actually referred to you (not in name) during part of my talk when I was telling folks they needed to think for themselves. I mentioned your famous "what if" talks around the campfire and how that sort of thing helps people wargame out scenarios, etc.

                      hmm..
i knew my ears were burning... about that time...
                      couldn't figure it out.
thought it was that whirlybird flyiing over...
thought it was those vapor streams up in the blue sky.
thought it was those bees flying around the new buds we got around here.

                      now i know!
