I recently started reading Matthew Bracken's "Enemies Foreign and Domestic" novel, and it is chilling how Matthew shows the power of government rise up... For example, we know we are ALL on a list somewhere. If you are here, you are on a list... But what was chilling in the novel was the use of "CASH REWARDS" for information on people who owned banned, illegal, "assault weapons." And it got me to thinking how many people know I am a "gun guy" that likes his "semi-auto, military-style firearms" who in HARD TIMES, may be tempted by cash rewards for information...

Does the .gov not know people will try to HIDE their banned weapons, even bury them? And if people bury them out of fear of "the Man,", isn't the 2nd Amendment moot at that point? This novel has given much to ponder...

With the controversies and conspiracy theories about the school shootings swirling in the REAL WORLD, the novel's main catalyst event, a mass shooting at a Stadium, is even more errie as the novel reveals the conspiracy...

Great book. I loved it and the 2 after it. Read Castigo Cay, and thought it was a manual on how to be a sailor, rather than a story. I understand writing to develop a story, build characters, and building worlds that are believable, but I think I found out more about the various boats he used during the story, than actually knowing about the character in the book. 3rd book in the series was my favorite though.
