  • first show of the year.

Well tomorrow I will be heading to the great Rochester gun show. I really don't need anything maybe another 870 but just want to see how crazy people are going to act buying what they can. I know all AR,AK,SKS and mini are going to get top dollar so don't bother looking at them. Was told today that the ammo guy is NOT going to be there because he has nothing to sale. I think the only thing I might get a good deal on would be an older lever action. I really think it's going to be a nut house with under covers looking to bust people not doing the NIC check. Should be fun

Fellow I know finally got his butt in gear and went and bought a Glock. Just for fun he asked the gun dealer if they had any AK's. The guy said the last one they sold a few weeks ago sold for $1700. He asked what flavor it was, thinking maybe a pre ban Polytech or something. Guy simply replied- "it was nothing special, like a WASR or something"

    WOW!

Not seeing a lot online about any legislation pending. Then I get a free USA Today and there it is...
Boris- "He's famous, has picture on three dollar bill!"

Rocky- "Wow! I've never even seen a three dollar bill!"

Boris- "Is it my fault you're poor?"

I've been hearing informal reports that everyone at these shows is somber, as if resolved, or expecting trouble.

I drove to a show in NW Atl. Saturday morning. At 11:00, there were 100 or more waiting outside. This civic center will hold 3-500 people on the inside. After a 20 minute wait, the line was not moving, so I went back home. I can't wait to see what happens with a food shortage. Fortunately, I wasn't short of anything, so it helped to end cabin fever.

There was a guy there selling the Wise food buckets for $180 and people were buying them left and right. I was able to get some 22lr for $22 per 500 which was nice to get my hands on because there is none in any of the shops around here.
