Florida and Georgia folks- Preparedness show January 19th, 20th!!!!

Planning on making it Saturday morning for a couple hours and then coming back Sunday to listen to some of the speakers and shoot spitballs at a few. I'll wear my ESEE ball cap so feel free to tap me on the shoulder and say hi.

Saturday Morning If cold I will have a beige n green coat on with Robert embroidered over right pocket, a flag over left and on the back, wearing a 5.11 hat of similar colors.

If warm I will have a shirt on with Robert over right pocket and a spider over left. same 5.11 hat.

Awesome show! Great attendance and was very cool to meet a lot of folks from the forums there!

First talk went well today and was well attended despite the late hour. Answered questions for another hour and a half.

Another talk, different subject, tomorrow at 3:30 pm.

Quite a bit of inventory sold today before noon.... Folks that came in, came ready to buy, had cash in hand, basically weren't messing around.

Looking forward to meeting more folks from the forums there tomorrow.

yes it was a good show. it was even cooler meeting some of the people you talk to on here face to face. they had some good stuff for sale and lots of info, the speakers had a packed room most of the time. we stayed until alittle after 1:30. what was good to see was at gate opening there must have been about 150 people waiting to get in. i even got to meet dr. bones/nurse amy and lisa bedford aka survival mom, way cool. wish they would hold these shows more often in fl.

Nice to meet some of y'all and put faces to names. Picked up a few Items while there myself. Wish I could have stayed longer, but had a great time at my Hammock camp out as well...

That camo hat was throwin me fer a loop man, I was all like "dude! Where's his head?"
Well I was glad to put faces w names I'm always better w faces than names. Now I'm tired. Getting there so early on Sunday after getting off work just after midnight left me drained, but its good to test one's self like that every now and again. I wasn't able to get a camera set up like I wanted for my talk on communications, but I have alternate means of getting the relevant information out there. Right now I get to spend time w my chirrens, and hug them close before I go to werk tonite.

I had an incrediable time at the expo. Got to meet a couple of board members. I think RobertJ came over to my table but didn't realize who I was. Met The Dreamers and The Other Half as she was introduced. The demographics of the show was great and the whole thing had a positive strong energy about it. I went to LD3s speachs both days and even having the final slot of the day on Saturday the room was packed. I heard nothing but postive comments from the vendors around me about the promoters. The promoters came around several times during the show to see how things were going. I hope these people put on another one. it was a blast.

Ditto what Spock said. The promoters are good folks and we all need to support them.

I reminded people at my first talk on Saturday that it had been over 13 years since Florida has seen a decent Preparedness show and how important it was for people to SUPPORT THESE SHOWS so we can have something that doesn't require a 2 day trip to get to!

Attendance was great on Saturday and that made the show for us.

Couldn't get the talk on Sunday videotaped, but got some of the talk on Saturday videotaped so we'll be posting some of that here before too long.
