Thank you all for 2 1/2 awesome years so far! And Merry Christmas.
Take time to remember that over 2,000 years ago, "a Son was given" but He did not remain in the manger, He went on to die for your sins and praise the Lord for my sins. The Father loved YOU so much that He sent His only Son to die for you and for me. Personally, being a father, I would not let my son die for people I know and love. Yet THE Father's love is much greater than any human can imagine. His gift that day was His Son and His Son fulfilled the promise 33 or so years later by suffering and dieing for us. I cannot fathom that type of love, the closest thing I can relate to is a mother that had blood clots while she was carrying me and at a time after Roe v. Wade, was told by the docs to "save herself" and get an abortion. She didn't. If the Lord loves me MORE than that, than I want to love Him in return!
Their is going to come a time when all of us will need to lean on His love, lean on His wisdom and lean on Him for protection. This will only happen if you KNOW HIM. Get to know Him now, develop that relationship now. He has saved my life on more than one occasion. I love Him. My hope for this holiday season is that if you don't know Him, that you get to know Him this season.
A true relationship with the Lord is the ULTIMATE PREPAREDNESS.
