  • Preppers V Survivalists

    So I’m sat there the other night when this just popped into my head, had I write it down and share. ;)

    In case of a Power cut;

    A Survivalist;
    Gets a torch, checks the circuit breaker, lights a few candles then spends the rest of the night trying to convince the wife it’s ‘kinda romantic’

    A Prepper;
    Springs into action taking the LED torch on his ECD keychain to hunt out his ‘survival binder’ which is always kept on top of the filing cabinet in his office…just in case he has to find it in the dark. Thumbing though he locates the relevant section on ‘power cuts’ (just after paper cuts) then goes to get his comprehensive ‘power cut kit’ stored in his bug-in-box (BIB). He then spends the rest of the night trying to convince his wife ‘see this is why you should take my prepping seriously’.

    Tomorrow morning he’ll sit down and evaluate his experiences (did he compromise ‘OPSEC’ by having too much light when all his neighbours were in comparative darkness???) either way he’s sure the guys on the forum will be pleased to hear about the whole thing, a real first-hand account of how he survived a power cut.

          I like the big binder "power cuts after paper cuts" very funny.
          Survival question. What do I need most, right now?
