  • NFL is quite the Gun Club!!

Pretty similar reason that I have purchased guns.

Jones bought his first gun his senior year at the University of Virginia, and, as a rookie with the Arizona Cardinals a dozen years ago, he learned quickly that guns were an ingrained part of the NFL culture.

    COMPLETE COVERAGE: Belcher tragedy

"Most guys when they first come into the league is when they first start to realize they need protection," Jones says. "Because money brings a lot of positive things. But most of the time, it brings more negative things. People don't like you for what you have, for who you are. They don't like you for what you represent. And people will go to any length to take what you have or harm you in some way just because they don't have what you have. If you don't have a firearm to protect you from situations and God forbid something happens to you, you wish you would have a firearm."

This coming from a multimillionaire that has never once ever prepped in the fashion that "we" on this board prep.

It's a truly sad thing that happened to the player and his wife from the Kansas City Chiefs but all I can say in reference to Bob Costos rant is stick that in your pipe and smoke it!

A lot of NFL players are avid hunters and huge firearms collectors.

Bob Costas is a joke, always has been.

Jason Whitlock needs to have his tail whipped. Or be shot in the mouth from the side,
You know what ol' Jack Burton always says at a time like this?

I myself am sick and tired of hearing sports stars, musicians, tv personalities, actors/actresses and politicians tell us how we don't "need" guns.

How would they know what normal people need?

They live in mansions have drivers, servants and bodyguards. Like a few years back when Rosie O'donnel was attacking Tom Selleck and saying no one in America should have guns, it was later revealed that she had armed bodyguards with her 24/7/365.

Sure maybe they did come from backgrounds like you and me but those days are gone once you become a "celebrity".

Don't get me wrong I don't begrudge them their success. They made their money and they can do with it what they may but they need to come down off their high horse and let me live my life as I choose. Just because they have money doesn't make their opinion any more valid than mine.

Bob Costas should just shut up and sportscast, Bruce Springsteen should just shut up and sing, Rosie O'Donnel should just shut up and..... eat? :)

Holy Crap! I heard NOTHING about that one. When I googled it there were pictures, etc. Abdullatif Aldosary....not exactly a name the drips Americana. Where is the mainstream media on this one!!!???? I would say I am shocked, but I am not.

Not that I am a proponent of facebook, but I thought since "they" track everything on the internet anyway, I posted it on FB.
