I wanted to throw out a word of caution. Be extremely careful about getting caught up in the language coming out of Washington D. Ceit. Divide and conquer works, and the MSM is expert at using it. One example: After Obama got elected, there was a huge bunch of noise about where he was born. It could have been settled by him holding up a birth certificate from Hawaii. He didn't. I asked myself, why is this happening? Okay, it seems that while everyone was diverted wondering whether or not he had a birthday, THE BIGGEST POWER GRAB BY THE CENTRAL GOVERNMENT IN OUR HISTORY was taking place. Our banking system is now totally controlled by the wrong people, (i.e. anybody other than the people designated by the U.S. Constitution to do it, the congress) and the federal government can now legally pick you off the street and hold you somewhere with NO discourse to lawyers, due process, etc. That's just the tip of the iceberg.

While they were doing that, people you expect to pay attention were arguing about whether or not he was born in America. Well, let me ask you, just how much does that matter? He's in, and he ain't leaving. I've heard it said that if voting actually changed anything, it would be illegal. I now believe that. The point here is that the next time there is a fluff story hitting the "news," look behind it and see if you can figure out what's really going on that they don't want you to see.

Have you noticed that the debate on the Fair Tax has just "gone away?" Any reference to eliminating the Federal Reserve or even auditing it has disappeared. In it's place is a bunch of rhetoric about the dangers of the "Liberal Progressives" or some such. The word progressive is becoming a swear word in the media. Let me ask you, do you want to stay where you are, or do you want to get better? That's called progress. If you want to move forward, that's progressive. Do you see what's happening?

We are commanded to help others. In fact, we are only doing as well as the worst of us are doing. If your neighbor is starving, you are required to help. That's one of the tenets of the Christian religion. No, you don't have to adopt them, but you do need to help if you can. By painting them as a useless deadbeat, the wealthy have made it "okay" to turn their backs on those in need. The rest of us know better. Just because a man has been without a job for a while doesn't make him worthless. We need to shoot for a little better attitude here. Watch your reactions to the "news" and see if it's changing your core beliefs. That's important.

Enough rambling. Fire away. I don't mind if someone disagrees with me. In fact, I like it. It gives both of us a chance to learn.

Government is the problem, period. Those that believe replublicans can do it better are deluding themselves. Republicans and democrats are two dogs that serve the same master. The three greatest threats to this country are the patriotic act, the military commisions act, and continuity of government. These laws are the foundation for american fascism. All three signed into law by George W. Bush. All three reauthorized by Obama. They're all in it together. The Tea Party says they are against fascism, yet take their talking points from fascists. Liberals say they love the environment and the poor, yet support the corporate institutions that destroy both. There's plenty of hypocrisy to go around.

Stop listening to what people say and only watch what people do and you'll quickly realize the facade of american life. MSNBC and Fox news are mere distraction meant to keep the slaves in their chains. If you embrace the left/right divide you are HELPING destroy america. Hating liberals and lefties is not helping save america. A house divided CANNOT stand.

Well, hate to be the devil's advocate here, BUT, my drummer beats to a different tune than most Americans, and for that matter most people worldwide.
Case in point, the Abu Ghraib photos... They should have NEVER been released by the commanders that captured and confiscated the cameras. We can go in that on another thread if anybody wishes.
But as for politics goes, it is not the system that is broken. Yes it is not a perfect system. The founders would have NEVER imagined that the number of free loaders (democrats) would outnumber true hard working Americans almost 2 to 1 (sorry if you are a democrat). In their time, people worked hard for every penny they got. They never thought that people would be sucking off the government's titt for almost 2 years on an unemployment plan. They never thought that the middle class would hate the rich (THEIR EMPLOYERS) so much that congress would make federal laws pertaining to unions' rights. They were truely smart men our forefathers, but they looked at the constitution through eyes of ethical and moral eyes. In case you did not know it, there was a government attempt in the constitutional writing days where people worked, and received based on their needs and not their work level. It was apparent all too fast to our forefathers that it bred lazyness and freeloaders. NOTHING has changed, democrats always use class warfare to win votes from the large number of ignorant middle class voters (no im not calling all middle class voters ignorant). But when you believe that by TAXING the wealthy and spreading the wealth around you are going to have a better life, than you are ignorant on how economics works.

You mentioned the fair tax. Do you know why it never goes anywhere? Because 90% of Americans pay ZERO federal income tax. And most that 90% actually get money back under the unearned income credit (read I have too many kids I cannot support on my own-because it is my right and you owe me). Those 90% would kill politicians (not literally) for making them actually start paying a "fair tax" and start kicking money into the federal kitty instead of always sucking the titt. Again, buying votes. That is why fair tax never goes anywhere. The middle class in America, for the most part, believe that the upper class owes them something. I am sorry, the only thing my boss owes me is my paycheck, and I am thankful for receiving it (another thing most Americans have lost).

Sorry if I went off on a tangent, but the discussion of politics just gets me going. How in the world so many people turned a blind eye on what we warned them about Obama is beyond me. And yet now everything we warned them about is happening, and they now (some not all) claim they didnt vote for him. Even though they still have the bumpersticker, LMAO!!!
