Celebrate them? Don't celebrate them? Celebrate which ones? The seasons are here. Thought I would voice the question. Which holidays will you celebrate after the fact and will you try to do so on the same day? Christmas, Halloween, Thanksgiving, July 4th? Which to keep and which to stop. Let me see your lists.

Well it depends on so many things but if I was able to celebrate I would for the following:

    Easter
    Independence Day
    Thanksgiving Day
    Christmas

Same ones I celebrate now, Christmas, Easter, and Thanksgiving.
They involve the two most important things in life...Faith and Family!!!!

I think it is important to celebrate, particularly the holidays that are important to our faith. I suspect the "things" part would be dramatically different, but the true thankfulness would be at least the same, if not far more important.

Right on the money here. I can pass on birthdays except for smaller kids who need the sense of normalcy that it would bring. I think having days set aside each month to give thanks for being alive might be in order as well. Communing with GOD is going to be a very important time and getting all the family into the idea that just being alive is a real blessing if SHTF. GB
