    Over/Under how many folks get killed over the next 12 hours in stampedes of morons?

    I say we set the O/U @ 5.



    I am so glad we are buying online this year.

    Never have. Never will. We don't even like going to a store around the 1st or 15th of the month when everybody gets paid and shops. When we do go to town we usually go early in the morning when most folks are still sleeping.

      I went to the 8pm early sale at wally world and will go back at 5am. It was crowded but everyone seemed polite enough. At least they were to me.

          This is when we buy what little electronics that don't see in the dark, detect motion or read heat, i.e, normal folks stuff. We hate paying full price. As we stood in line for 2 hours though, I thought about the time/saving matrix and consider was saving $50. worth it....

            We just got in from our annual jaunt. Got everything we wanted. I think DH was disappointed there was no fights though.....

              My brothers wife got a 50 inch 1080p for $288. Atta girl

                largest town in my corner of state.
                i drove by the mall ... at 620 and 720 very low number of cars in lot. less than a normal saturday or sunday.
                i went to lowe's. every cashout station had an employee.. cashiers were standing in front of cash register
                waiting on customers.
                when i checked out there was only one other cashier working.

                these two examples indicate disastrously low black friday sales in my area of state.

                    Went back to the store this morning for the 5am deals. I couldn't believe how few cars were in the parking lot. I went in and there were more employees then customers. I bumped into a friend that works there and she was saying the sales last night were real low and they didn't run out of stock on anything including electronics. When I got to the front of the store I counted eight cashiers standing in the isle and maybe five actually checking people out. Lowe's seemed to be busy but Jc Penneys wasnt.

                    Not good signs at all.

                      Walmart in my AO was packed last night...people were parking anywhere and everywhere. Town size 10-20K.

                          For the first time in a LONG time, we did not go to the Black Friday "extravaganza" at our Wally World. We are in full "prepper-mode" now, and the "toys" at Walmart aren't "prepper-qualified".

                          I will predict right now that this year's holiday sales are going to be well below expectations.

                          Fully HALF of the voters in this country are complete IDIOTS, and the U.S. economy is tiptoeing along the edge of the cliff. Who in their right mind is going to waste money on iPads and iPhones and other worthless gadgets, when food and water and shelter and protection are the BASICS that allow for survival?

                          If you want to buy Christmas gifts that make sense, buy silver coins, food, firearms, fishing equipment, hunting equipment, and water filtration gadgets.

                            Not sure. Waiting on her to wake up so we can meet them at moms for T'giving and hear of her deals.

                            My wife and I have been watching Amazons lighting deals since last night. Got a Kershaw cheap for youngest brother and got step dad FIFA13 for $25.

                            Curious to see what Monday online will bring.

                            From what I hear, the Wally Worlds, Targets and Tanger near me were slam jammed last night and early this morning.

                              I think I saw D.icks sporting goods had buy one pack of bullets get one half off.

                              They had a Remington 700 for $385 after rebates and sales.

                              Academy had some cheap hunting gear
