New Red Dawn movie!

Just got back from three showings of it and it's awesome!





Very well done, they did not butcher it and it wasn't as "GI Joe" 'ish as the previews made it out to be. Definitely worth seeing a couple dozen times ;)

In the briefing they get from a US Marine they run in to, they learn that we still hold "Michigan to Montana and Alabama to Arizona."

So as we are coming out of the 2nd one last night, two guys in front of us have this conversation-

"You know how you know that movie is bull$hit?"
*How?"
"Cause they said they got past Georgia."

The boy told his Grandma the other day - "it's not "a" movie, it's THE movie." Just like watching him choke someone bigger than him out, somethings just bring a tear to a father's eye... LOL

im going today to see it with my dad. wife unit is taking lil one to a different film with my mom. wife unit wants to watch the 1st one all the way through 1st and i agreed, plus if its that good ill take her for a date night......so i can see it twice..

While wife and daughter were watching "Life of Pi," I got my man on by seeing Red Dawn...

Better than expected. Almost plausible in the extreme by explaining how NK only had to subdue to North-West, while Russia, China and others took the rest of the coastlands... Still over-the-top human exploits, as if no one busted or broke bones jumping from that window to the other building below, or leaping off elevated walkways to the floors below, etc... Let alone the percussion damage being so close to C4, tank rounds, and grenade explosions... But it was a good movie to cheer for! Wolverines open a can of woop' ***...

I hope some of the people out there talking about a coming civil war after 0bama see how futile it would be without the general population behind you, giving you aid, comfort and support... This movie showed that necessity well...
