All of us that served- proudly!- did it out of love for those around us and a feeling of duty to the land that raised us up.

Please take a few moments today and sit and tell someone about your time in service and why you did it.

Thanks to all that serve and served!!

Late for this ladies and gentlemen but thanks so much to all of you who have and are serving our country our thanks go out to your families as well. My husband and I make it a point to go up and thank anyone we see in uniform for their service to our country. It wasn' that long ago we spotted an elderly gentlman wearing a cap the said "USS Missouri" on it. He had been on board the ship in port in Hawaii when we were bombed. The man was shocked to be thanked. We find that sad that someone can serve their country and be ignored. We tried to help some vets with the benefits they are supposed to have available and the treatment of our vets through a system that is supposed to help them is deplorable. These service people seem to be passed from one piece of red taped idiot to another. God Bless You all for your service.
