    I just feel like my 6th amendment constitutional rights are being infringed upon

    In what way sully? Would you expand on your thought?
    Freedom is never more than one generation away from extinction. We didn't pass it to our children in the bloodstream. It must be fought for, protected, and handed on for them to do the same, or one day we will spend our sunset years telling our children and our children's children what it was once like in the United States where men were free.

              So... you live in the District of Columbia, you're an Elector to the Electoral College, and you're in trouble with the law and ?!?!?! I'm confused.... but tha's nothing new I guess.

              A little more information and explaining your thoughts might help if the is to be any discussion on this thread.

                  heehee, I don't think he realized that we actually READ the Constitution here, LOL.

                  I'm more of the opinion that the 2nd, 4th, and 10th amendments are the ones taking all the trampling these days, and I expect the 1st to be restricted soon.

                  Also, the 16th shouldn't be in there and the 17th directly contradicts the Founders intent for the make-up of the Legislature.

                  But that's just me........

                    The 1st is being attacted daily... and in many ways has already taken many hits...

                    Most cities say you are required to have a "permit" to assemble for a rally or protest (unless it fits their agenda)... Go and apply for a permit for a "Highly Visible" location and see what kind of restrictions they put on the permit and your assembly??

                    If anything truly "damaging" begins to come out in the media it gets "Squashed" by "Homeland Security".

                      Its funny that those both passed/enacted the same year we got the "FED"... Why do we have to have an Income Tax now but our country thrived without it for over 100 years until 1913?
