I have alot of love for him, he took care of some soldiers that no else cared about too much because of the mission we were on and it's unpopularity. He didnt forget that we were doing as told and didnt forget that we were watching out for American interests in the process.

Wow! I kinda forgot about him (I'll go kick myself now). I think he would have been an awesome president.

A case could be made that Ross Perot is the reason we ended up with Bill Clinton as President.
            Just sayin'.

Not so much Palin as it was John Mccain. What a TOOL!

His claim to fame is he was a prisoner in Vietnam. Don't get me wrong I respect his service to our country but he is a liberal progressive republican and has sold the American people out many times.

I remember him talking about NAFTA, and how if it was passed we'd hear a giant sucking sound as all of our jobs went south of the border. He nailed that one too. He had a lot of insight, but he was also a bit paranoid, and as Molly Ivans said, being a little paranoid is like being a little pregnant; it's just going to get worse. I didn't like him as a person, because I worked for one of his competitors at the time and heard that his employees had some of the most byzantine rules I'd ever heard of. For example, his employees weren't allowed to have ANY facial hair. Another thing; if they got a speeding ticket, it showed up on their performance evaluations. Weird. He was a smart guy, though. Total loose cannon. He sold his company, EDS (Electronic Data Systems) to GM. One of the provisions of the sale was that he would get a seat on the Board of Directors at GM. He was such a PITA there that they paid him a BILLION DOLLARS to leave. I thought that was outrageous! I would have gladly left for half that amount! He was plain spoken, though. You gotta give him that. No talking out of both sides of his mouth for him.
