no substitute for actually "rolling" on the mat for a while. I run 3 times a week, 8 minute miles, and my fight cardio was so sad, I was only good for about 3 to 4 minutes before I was about to pass out. Different kind of cardio for sure. and while I could toss him around like a ragdoll on the mat, it seemed everything I would try to accomplish ended in me tapping out.

Had this happen recently with an in shape mid 20's firefighter. We rolled and I kept asking him if he needed to stop and get some oxygen :) Course I deprived him of that at a couple points but for the most part I just frustrated him and practiced attacks no one else I train with usually falls for any more. You tend to get rusty on 'basic" attacks after a while cause after a few months of serious training, few people fall for them anymore. Or it's the chess match deal where you have to throw the kitchen sink at them and have them chasing escapes that lead to other attacks.www.homesteadingandsurvival.com

Anybody ever hear of John Duncan? Used to be a national martial arts champion several years ago? He's a retired under cover narcotics officer and a professor at OU now. I got to hear him speak at an AG Conference in Norman today. Very interesting fellow.Freedom is never more than one generation away from extinction.
