Hopefully the sheeple are waking up a little bit and seeing that the gubmint are incompetent boobs (as a whole there are competent individuals but they aer bogged down by the crats) and that they can't count on the gubmint to save them.

A good reply to those who think the govt. will take care of them is to point out that in an emergency situation, first up is local. If they can't handle it, they call the state. If the state can't handle it because ALL of the National Guard troops are in Afghanistan, THEN they call the feds. There is 72 hours between stuff happening and the feds getting called. That's "called" not "SHOWING UP." People were raging about the fed response to Katrina, and it WAS terrible, but it wasn't that long after the 72 hours had passed. Then, there were people from Missouri that went there for rescue ops, and ended up spending a whole DAY getting briefings about sexual harassment before they even started helping people. True story.
