This is geared towards a pre-teen mentality.

Most Television is. Turn it off for a couple years and you'll see what I mean.

Arrows that generate less than 100ft lbs made 200lb men running full tilt change directions

Every time i watch one of those deer hunting shows where they are using bow & arrow I don't see them deer fly back like that... LOL

The arrow either misses, gets stuck in the deer, or passes thru the deer. I have yet to see a deer change direction when it is hit with an arrow.

mm as I suspected, had to be in for the evening and watched it. Arrows that generate less than 100ft lbs made 200lb men running full tilt change directions, women dragging downed men turn into she hulks at the threshold of the doorway and move them into upstairs bedrooms, skipping and holding hands on a short journey to chicago with 20lb packs or total lack of because it messes up the hair, another sloverly white guy who is a bumbling idiot because thats how we all are whereas the tanned one is a greek godlike creature to be revered, a guy who survived because "he's good at killing", the neighborhood savior with the village, the eeeevilll soldiers because thats how we all are, the atypical couple where the man runs in and says gather food n water because they have minutes and she starts asking questions but never moving her body an inch, 15 yrs later and elastic in lift bras still works, i'm using a bow but he has a fininky ammo eating desert eagle? (not for long), someone can generate electricity but isnt rulling the world?
I can go on but ,,,,,
The concept of the show is ok but they missed and i'm sure it will be popular especially when something like a polar bear attacks on a tropical island oh wait thats a different one never mind

Matt I think you need to produce your own show. Hollyweird will never be real enough for real survivalists!....chuckle....

You guys crack me up! Makes me think of old shows where white guys played indians sayin' stuff like "me smokum pipe", etc...and shows where cowboys waking up from a night spent sleeping around a campfire look better than I do after getting out of a bed in a modern house! LOL

John Stamos isn't in this show....but those are some pearly whites they are sporting...man their clothes look good for being 15 years old.

Just saw the first episode. It was ok but that fight scene with the uncle was pretty campy and the guy trying to kill the girl outside? She couldn't have held him off for more than a blow or two. I'll watch the next one but it's going to have to improve for me to stay with it. I hope "Last Resort" is better.

We watched it and I thought it was ok. I would have liked to see more details of the immediate aftermath of the power going down.

My wife liked it and wants to see the next episode... I told her she'll see it next week - after that, it's anyone's guess how long before NBC cancels it!!

not to mention no command structure at all...that teenage girl calling the shots plus whining and crying and carrying on cause she thinks its all her fault...her brother wouldn't listen to their dad and she somehow thinks she could have stopped that 17 year old hot head? really gimme a break.
