I started reading this last night and was planning on sharing when I was done. So far I think he might have things right. -
I think that is a pretty accurate description of what the future could look like...I know a lot of vets and they won't just roll over for some petty thugs...the thing that this writer overlooked is the number of Iraq/Afghan vets that are gang members and are sharing the same tactics with their gang members. I think we've started to see some of the passing of military tactics to gangs already. I remember a story from about a year ago in either TX or CA where a couple of gang members used infantry assault tactics to kill a cop or two and escape the robbery scene. sure is nice when your gangbangin "carnado" gets shot, and doesnt have to goto a hospital to get patched up. I love all of his books too. Bracken is quite the writer. His scenario is so like all the ones that we gameplan and prepare for.Comment
