I think you are probably right about more libs/socialists prepping than I think. At least in my area of NC, they pass it off as going organic and back to nature.

I remember the day after obama was elected... we had a run on firearms at the gun store I work at.. funny thing was there were many carss with obama stickers on them. just seemed strang to me.

Liberals buying guns because they fear a collapse and no protection by the police?!?!? Wow... That's almost too funny!! And of course, a little hypocritical....

I voted for Obama. I also believe America is in serious trouble, and that's why I voted for him. I'm actually a republican. I watched as Bush involved America in two never ending wars, increased the size of our government, shepherded in the Patriot Act, and jacked the deficit up for two strait terms (both of which I voted for him). Long story short, I voted for Obama because the Republican Party was doing the exact opposite of what they were supposed to be doing which was shrinking the government, reducing the deficit and increasing personal freedom. Unfortunately, Obama actually compounded the problem.

FYI, the only president in my lifetime to actually reduce the size of government and our deficit and balance his annual government budget was Clinton. Every other president, republican or democrat has done the opposite. Clinton gives us hope that it can be done, but it’s getting to the point where it may be too late. People (democrats and republicans) sense that and are reacting appropriately by preparing. That’s a good thing, because the more people who are unprepared come hard times, the more people that are desperate. Desperate people are dangerous people, especially to peppers.
