  • Muslim Political Correctness in the UK is the US next?

Maybe Triple Sod can shed some light on this for us. I wonder when we will start seeing more of this in the States?

The older I get, the more I realize that the world is only divided into two groups of people. It's not race, religion, sexuality or station in life that divides us. The division is .....Those who hate and those who don't. I'm working hard to be a part of the group who does NOT hate, but it's a daily battle. It's easy for me to get sucked into hatred of Muslims, blacks, Hispanics, rich people, poor people, ect. It seems equally easy for those groups to hate others. In the end, I can only control myself. I have to let the rest of the world do what it does and just try to be the best I can be. It does seem like the world is going towards hate and away from peace though. Sappy post…yes. Sorry.

Sappy, yes....but right on target!!! If people would just believe what they believe and let others be (golden rule???), the world would be a MUCH better place.

Ah the whole political correctness thing has been a running joke over here for decades now, especially in the school where a handful of lefty teachers can get together and form some diversity committee where they sit around and decide what other people might find offensive

Defiantly, it’s easy to build castles in the sky when you’re 22 and single but I’ve always said I’ll never send my kids to state school.

Surprisingly, from what I’ve seen our laws on home education are actually far less restrictive than most US states, stipulation only that the kid is getting some form of education.

Not quite sure why that is in this mother of all nanny states, although I suspect it’s at least partly down to having a convenient method to get ‘problem’ kids out of the LEA’s hands.
