    New TV show - Revolution

    Anyone noticed the ads for the new tv show called Revolution?

    While watching some of the Olympics, we've been noticing these ads. Premiers Monday, Sept 17.

    Show summary from IMDB -
    Our entire way of life depends on electricity. So what would happen if it just stopped working? Well, one day, like a switch turned off, the world is suddenly thrust back into the dark ages. Planes fall from the sky, hospitals shut down, and communication is impossible. And without any modern technology, who can tell us why? Now, 15 years later, life is back to what it once was long before the industrial revolution: families living in quiet cul-de-sacs, and when the sun goes down lanterns and candles are lit. Life is slower and sweeter. Or is it? On the fringes of small farming communities, danger lurks. And a young woman's life is dramatically changed when a local militia arrives and kills her father, who mysteriously - and unbeknownst to her - had something to do with the blackout. This brutal encounter sets her and two unlikely companions off on a daring coming-of-age journey to find answers about the past in the hopes of reclaiming the future. Written by NBC Publicity

    Sounds pretty good, I hope it lives up to expectations.

      We've seen the trailers. It looks promising! I realize this is Hollyweird's idea of survivalism but it looks like it might be good entertainment.

      Have you guys/gals seen the advertisement for ABC's new fall show callled "Last Resort"? Another one that looks very promising! Check out this trailer!

      On a side note, anybody heard if and when Doomsday Preppers starts another season?

        Since it's new, different, and not a clone of "CSI" or "Law and Order", they'll show about 3 episodes and cancel it mid season.... It happens EVERY time I get involved in a new program!

            hhhmmm...maybe I'll wait till it comes out on Netflix to avoid the black suits stationed at the theater doors! LOL

              More anti-Militia Bravo Sierra. We need to expose Militias in the right fashion. I'm talking about the real, bona-fide, Constitutional Militia. Ask the average sheep what he thinks about the Militia, and you'll get anything from satanic cult to pro commie.....

                Sheep? I aint no sheep. Dealt with many, there is a reason for what folks think. It's the same battle as many organizations battle like say gun owners. One DA shoots some people and we are all bad, except well it really doesnt take that long to know thats not right because many in that theatre and even in that church own guns and they arent nutso.
                I havent ran into one procommie or satanic one either. Not sure what being satanic has to do with militia anyway. You being a consitutionalist, well bill of rightser anyway where militias are covered, means supporting the freedom of religion as well, right? Surely you guys arent screening
                Sounds like you have alot to say about the virtues and great deeds of militas so do a thread. I know i'm real interested to hear what you have done for me

                  Same with us. Really annoying when a show just disappears.

                    I do not and will not watch anything that is on broad cast television. if its on broadcast its low production ad supported trash. premium cable channels/show FTW.

                      Will go the way of "Jericho". I hope it doesnt get really weird, like LOST, and stays pretty true to life. Dont have much hope of that though.
