  • Chick Fil A stands ground

Many of you may have heard about Chick Fil A standing there ground against gay marriage. Its the hot topic in bloggo world and on face space.

    Even this:

These liberals are nuts. Not only are they against anything that opposes them but they are against anyone that believes in Christianity and its principles. Sad times in this country all the way around the spectrum.

I commend Mr Cathy and his company for standing up against the messed up country. True old school. We go to his Rock Ranch all the time and I have been supporting Chick Fil A since I was a 3 year old going to Shannon Mall with my grandmaw. My family and I, and coworkers go eat at Truets all the time. Its awesome.

It is the best run restaurant I think, on Earth. Never an attitude. Always cheerful and nice staff.

I am glad someone in this country is going against the mainstream and representing what they believe in.
Aug 1st is supposed to be Chick Fil A support day. I love their food and their atmosphere.
And dat be one gooooood sammich!

For a while now i have preferred Chick Fil A to other fast food simply because they are closed on Sunday. same reason i choose Hobby Lobby over other such stores. I will reward Businesses that stand by their values with my business. I plan on taking extra trips to Chick Fil A to support them during this time. If i see any gays kissing while I'm there I plan on throwing up on their shoes just to make a point.

I think it's great that Chic Fil A and Hobby Lobby take proactive positions. No one requires either company to take a stand on anything, yet, both of these business are unafraid to take positions that express their values. It's interesting that both are very successful businesses.

Not only do I support them, I shop frequently at Hobby Lobby and Chic Fil A.

Honestly, I don't care for their food, but I will stop and eat there next time I come across one :)

This year is a turning point for Amerika guys, you can feel it everywhere.

Every time I think about this year, the election, the values and character issues, family being attacked, etc. I think about this verse-

"Choose this day whom you will serve, as for me and my house we will serve the Lord."
Boris- "He's famous, has picture on three dollar bill!"

Rocky- "Wow! I've never even seen a three dollar bill!"

Boris- "Is it my fault you're poor?"

The Mayor of Chicago has said Chik-Fil-A doesn't represent "Chicago values." Which, I suppose, is a good thing. After all, when I think of Chicago, I think of gangs, decades of voter fraud, Obama, organized crime, and a host of other negative things, so it stands to reason that a business based on biblical principals doesn't represent "Chicago values." Bravo Chik-Fil-A! Too bad the nearest one is about 70 miles away, we might have to take a road trip, just to make a point.

Used to eat there a couple of times a week. Started brown-bagging to save money but I've ALWAYS supported them being closed on Sunday. Have to start eating there more on the weekends :-)

I support any Business that can stand up for what they believe in as a whole. Thats what wrong with this country now is that if you dont bow down to what some of the public and the goverment want your the bad guy. I say screw that, thats what has this country going into the toilet. I know not all my values are the same as the next guy but I dont try to run him out of business or jam my values down he's throat. Its easier to be flexable and coeist. I will support Chick Fil A when I am able to just to piss the left off.

"One cannot but ponder the question: what if the Arabs had been Christians? To me it seems certain that the fatalistic teachings of Mohammed and the utter degradation of women is the outstanding cause for the arrested development of the Arab. He is exactly what he was around the year 700, while we have kept on developing. Here, I think, is a text for some eloquent sermon on the virtues of Christianity." - General George S. Patton, diary, June 9, 1943.
